Amund Trellevik
Journalist and photographer

Who is Amund Trellevik?
I’m a Norwegian investigative journalist and photographer, born in 1983 and based in Tromsø, in the Arctic region of Norway.

My work focuses on Northern Norway, the High North, and Russia, with particular attention to how power, politics, and security policies affect people and communities at Europe’s northern edges. I have a strong and long-standing interest in human rights, civil society, and freedom of expression.

I work across multiple formats and platforms. In addition to reporting, I regularly moderate debates, conferences, and seminars. I also have experience teaching and lecturing in both academic and professional settings.

With extensive field experience across Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and the Nordic countries, I’m used to working in complex and challenging political, cultural, and security environments.

I’m available for editorial assignments, collaborations, teaching engagements, and moderated events. Please feel free to get in touch with inquiries, story ideas, or concrete assignments.
All requests are welcome and will be answered.
